Adam Letch from Cape Town, South Africa is a runner-up in the Architectural Photography Awards 2017 sponsored by Sto, with his image of a chapel built on Bosjes farm in Ceres, Cape Town by Steyn Studio, which came top of the Exterior category. The top prize of $3000 goes to Terrence Zhang from China for his winning photo of the Swimming Pool, New Campus of Tianjin University, China by Atelier Li Xinggang, which was announced at the World Architecture Festival in Berlin. The winning image and the finalists will be exhibited at Image+Space in Beijing from 11th November 2017 and at Sto Werkstatt, the cultural headquarters of the Sto Group in London from 9th February 2018. The other runners-up are Terrence Zhang’s photo of the Gymnasium of the New Campus of Tianjin University, China by Atelier Li Xinggang, which came top in the Buildings in Use category and Tom Roe's Messner Mountain Museum Corones, Bolzano, South Tyrol in Italy by Zaha Hadid Architects, which came top of the Sense of Place category.
